The first step is to fill out a booking request form. From there, you will receive a response usually within 24-48 hrs, declining or accepting your project. If accepted, you may require an in person consultation. Next, a $100 NON-REFUNDABLE retainer fee is required to book a time and date.

Do tattoos hurt?
Every person is different. There is no single answer to this question. Tattoos always hurt, but some people handle it better than others. I always describe it as scratching a sunburn, or a cat scratch. Obviously, some areas inherently hurt more than others but in general, you can’t go by someone else’s experience. Unfortunately, you just have to do it and see.

What is the healing process like?
Healing a tattoo is very easy and requires minimal effort. Generally, your new tattoo is an open wound for about 2 weeks. Although this differs person to person.
2-3 times per day, lather up some anti-bacterial soap in your hands and clean the tattoo. Pat or air dry, then apply a very thin layer of aquaphor or a&d ointment. Only use aquaphor or a&d for 2-3 days after getting your tattoo. After that, regular, unscented lotion should be applied instead. Any brand of lotion is ok, just make sure it is unscented.
Your tattoo will become VERY ITCHY. Make sure you do not scratch or pick at your new tattoo. This may cause improper healing and ruin your beautiful new tattoo. WE CAN TELL.
A full aftercare procedure sheet will be provided on the day of you appointment

Can I workout after my tattoo?
I highly recommend that you do not work out for seven days after getting tattooed. Sweating is not good for your tattoo and can lighten and decrease the crispness of the tattoo. Also, gyms and yoga studios are full of bacteria that can cause staph infections in open wounds. IF YOU MUST WORKOUT, stick to light cardio and make sure to wash the tattoo after you sweat.

What is you cancelation/reschedule policy?
I have a 24 hour cancelation/reschedule policy. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, your deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. If you cancel/reschedule with more than 24 hour notice, then your deposit can be used to book a future appointment. Deposits that go unused for one year are void.

Can I see the design beforehand?
I do not send out drawings before the appointment. Due to a busy schedule, it just doesn't work for me to send out drawings to each and every client in advance. Often, I finish a drawing a day or two before. in some cases, if you’d like to stop by the shop a day or so before, if the design is completed, we can take a look and go over if any changes are needed. There will be time, if needed to make edits to the design before we tattoo it. I know this bothers some people, but it's been working for many years, and everyone leaves happy with their new tattoo.

Can I bring a friend?
You can bring one other person with you to your appointment. Be sure to let them know that they will be bored out of their mind waiting for you to finish your tattoo.
